AGM 2009

NHS Southwark's Annual General meeting took place on Thursday September 24 at Coin Street Neighbourhood Centre, 108 Stamford Street, London SE1 9NH.

Mee Ling Ng OBE introduced the AGM and welcomed guests.

Susanna White, Chief Executive of NHS Southwark introduced the PCTs Annual Report, and talked about the increasing life expectancy of Southwark's population, how we performed in that last year, and the PCTs financial position.  Susanna went on to tlak about the need to change the way we deliver healthcare in the light of a continuing increase in demand whilst funding will not.  See Susanna's presentation.

Dr Ann Marie Connolly, Director of Public Health introduced this years Annual Health Report with its focus on child health in Southwark. See Ann Marie's presentation.
