Our performance
Southwark Health and Social Care works towards national and local targets in order to improve and modernise health and social care service provision for local people. The standards and targets cover a wide range of service areas and are a combination of nationally and locally defined goals

In 2004/05, Southwark PCT retained its two stars in the NHS Healthcare Commission’s star rating system.  The NHS star rating classification has now been replaced by the Healthcare Commission’s Annual Health Check. Southwark PCT’s rating for 2005/06 will be announced in October of this year.

Southwark Council Social Services was awarded the highest rating of three stars in 2004/05 for the second consecutive year. The Commission for Social Care and Inspection (CSCI) will continue its star rating system and is expected to announce its 2005/06 ratings in the autumn.

The tables below contain a selection of national targets for both Southwark PCT and Southwark Council, along with 2004/05 and 2005/06 performance.
