Support and intervention for class A drug users within the criminal justice system

Please note that referrals into services must be consistent with the relevant care pathway and compliant with the Information Sharing Protocol. Service providers should therefore acquaint themselves with these prior to making a referral.

Enhanced Arrest Referral service working in courts (encompassing RoB) and police stations providing test on arrest, voluntary assessment, advice, information, referral and 1:1 support until required assessment undertaken.

Monday to Friday: 9am to 10pm
Saturday : 10am to 2pm

Case Management for specified Class A drug users involved in the criminal justice system to engage them into drug treatment and provide wrap-around support to Service Users to enable them to move away from drug use and crime. The services provided include, assessments, advice, information, referrals into treatment, support with housing, employment, finance, accompanying clients to treatment from the community and also from prison.

DIP Assertive Outreach Programme (St. Mungos)
Provide assertive street-based outreach to locate individuals who have disengaged from DIP.  Undertake intensive, time limited interventions with Service Users to (re)engage them and support them to enter treatment.
