Service Users and Carers

Southwark PCT is committed to involving service users and carers at all levels of service development and delivery. The main vehicle for this in relation to substance misuse services is the Service User Council.

Southwark's Service User Council organises representatives for each of Southwark's treatment services.  Their roles include organising weekly service user meetings at  each treatment site and the production of a monthly newsletter. As well as having a specific representative for each service, the Council also participates in broader treatment issues such as policy development and the annual Needs Assessment.
