If you’ve never tried to quit smoking before or even if you think there’s no hope left, We have information available for you about the most effective way to stop smoking, and will provide you with help and support along the way.

You can also get nicotine replacement products and the antismoking drug Zyban at your GP on prescription.  If you are not eligible for free prescriptions you can get eight weeks supply of nicotine replacement products at designated chemists for approximately £26.

Your local pharmacy or GPs surgery may be able to offer you stop smoking advice and counselling.

At the first session we will advise you on the most effective treatment options available and discuss which treatment would suit you best. You will be offered one hour weekly appointments for about six weeks.  If you stop smoking you can continue receiving help and support for up to a year by attending monthly groups for ex smokers.
